We've conducted extensive tests on the NGK Iridium IX spark plugs, specifically on a supercharged 5.7-liter Dodge Charger, and the results have exceeded all expectations. In a series of impressive 90! back-to-back dyno passes, we pushed NGK's technology to its absolute limits. Despite the rigorous testing, the spark plugs showcased unparalleled resilience, displaying minimal signs of wear upon removal. They can be used with or without RIPP coil packs.

New, state-of-the-art NGK Ruthenium plugs designed for engines that demand high ignitability. The Double Fine Electrode (DFE) design promotes spark energy concentration and ignites a wider range of air-fuel ratios, offering improved performance in rich or lean engine conditions. 0.4mm Ruthenium alloy fine wire center electrode and 0.8mm platinum fine wire ground electrode. Trivalent metal platinum provides superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties. Corrugated ribs prevent flashover. Pro Tips:
- Supercharged vehicle - Use RIPP specified gap .032
- Non-supercharged vehicle - Use factory-specified gap .044 - .045
- Service spark plugs every 30,000 miles.
- Check the Spark plug gap! Never install a spark plug without first checking the gap and carefully adjusting if necessary.
- *Check if your vehicle has gasket or tapper seat spark plugs. RIPP plugs are all Gasket seat.
- Ruthenium Plugs have a platinum-tipped ground strap! Carefully gap with proper feeler or proper gapping tools.
- Iridium / Ruthenium spark plugs have delicate center electrode(s). When gapping, use high-quality gapping tools and feeler gauges. If using a traditional plug gapper, avoid contact with the electrodes at all times. Manipulate the plug's ground strap only!
- Checking gaps on old plugs that have been removed is commonly overlooked. Recording gap size on an old plug will help determine how often plugs require service. (as plugs wear, the gap will increase in size)
- Inspect plugs for hairline cracks and damage before installation. Plugs can be mishandled, dropped, and damaged. Carefully inspect a plug's electrode, porcelain, and ceramic portion.
- Apply Anti-seize compound to spark plug threads.
- Apply dielectric grease to coil pack/spark plug wire boot.
- Always tighten to the manufacturer's recommended torque spec.

Coloration: The color of the insulator nose and electrodes can indicate if an engine is operating smoothly or requires some adjustments.
- Deposits: Examining deposits on the spark plug can reveal information about the fuel and oil consumption. Reading an older plug removed from an engine can play a crucial roll in engine health!

Waiting for a 2024 Durango R/T Plus supercharger
Easy install and def can feel a power difference
All of this was basic maintenance. NGK plugs were a lot better than what I had in. With the msd blaster coil packs and a new tune from FRP, the car is better than ever.
Since I installed them was a huge difference. Since I got the high coil pack with it . Been peeling out on it . I am so satisfied on it . More power.
Go great with the coil packs even tho I only have 10,000 miles on the car but what a difference tho kept original coil packs and plugs
So far running great, was freshening up the plugs and tried the coils too. Was all good. Runs great!!! Definitely worth it!!!

Was running 187k miles on stock plugs, tossed these in and it runs like a dream! Use to smell unburnt gas when I floored it now all I smell is regular exhaust, I do need to get that exhaust leak fixed though
Tested the gap on all the 16 plugs and they were right around where they needed to be. They were a little close but not enough to mess with anything.
I have 95,000 miles on car plugs work great car runs much better plugs were gapped right but i checked them anyway great product.
Our Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi is running better than ever with the new plugs and coil packs. The interstate in Utah has an 80mph limit, our mileage went from 15 to 17.7. In the 70mph section the average is now 20.2 mpg!!!!!

Only put about 1500 miles since changing factory iridium’s to these. Haven’t noticed much difference, fuel mileage has stayed the same but it may have a little more pep in its step! Happy with the purchase!
