Works great with the PSC steering kit, tons of room over the stock air box. Everything fit together great
Easy to install in about 10-15 minutes and it looks great. Sleek and clean, finished look. Solved the problem of my stock air box no longer fitting after installing a new power steering reservoir. Shipping and delivery were super fast!
Told a friend I needed to change my OEM airbox to make room for the PSC reservoir and plumbing, he suggested RIPP and after taking a look it looked like it would be a great choice. So with the original intention of gaining space, I was really impressed with how the engine sounds now, I'm not driving a sewing machine anymore!
Very easy to install. Unlike other intake systems on the market, this one is not loud and obnoxious at take off or when cruising. Install is very easy. The hardest part was making the formed plastic line sit nicely after it was plugged into the intake.
Overall I am satisfied with the intake and it clears all of my PSC steering components. I was not happy with sound, so I purchased a 3.5” to 3” adapter and reinstalled the resonator. This really cleaned up the sound.
This kit fixed clearance issue with PSC reservoir on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I love the sound, install is super easy. Only one problem I had is the pcv hose adapter did not fit my vehicle. I had to order it separately, it would be nice to have multiple sizes of that adapter, it is a cheap piece of plastic. What I received was too big. What fit in my vehicle was 5/8 x 3/8 reducer.
Looks great, sounds great. Opens up a lot of space. Install would have been much more enjoyable if the included hose clamps were 1/4” longer. Struggled with every one and ended up using 2 of 4 old ones.

Great product with great sound coming outta the JK. Most importantly, it clears up room for all of my PSC products.

One bracket on main intake was too small had to use original clamp.
Easy install, looks great and sounds great!!! Better pick up in acceleration too!!
So happy with the decision to go with the Ripp air intake!! Helped with fuel mileage and can definitely tell a difference in performance!
