Looking to improve performance and gas mileage without breaking the bank? Look no further, Introducing the RIPP High Performance Coil Pack System for the 4.0L V6 1GR-FE and 3.5L V6 2GR-FKS.
What is a coil pack? A coil pack is like a large capacitor that generates spark energy for each individual spark plug during each engine revolution. Stock or OEM Coils are weak and don't deliver an efficient amount of energy, they work at a minimum requirement from the factory and perform poorly. The RIPP High Performance Coils are totally redesigned and re-engineered to add an additional10-15 HP on the 4.0L and20-30 HPon the 3.5L!! This translates to better MPG, a more responsive throttle input and over all better driving experience when installed.
(Only orange color at this time)
These coils are a direct swap to most V6 Toyota's They are guaranteed to be an improvement over those old weak, factory coil packs.

Pro Tip: We suggest using 91 octane fuel to make the quoted HP gains on the 3.5L and 4.0L engines. While vehicle factory specifications states the engine is compatible with 87 octane our test data discovered a small amount of pre-ignition at lower RPMs while using a lower octane fuel. Because of this RIPP recommends use of 91 octane fuel on a 3.5L and 4.0L Toyota engines. ( with or without upgraded coilpacks)
Instruction manual is for Toyota engines only. We do not have Lexus specific manuals, please reference your FSM for tune-up and coil replacement.

This is for my 07 Toyota FJ Cruiser with 235,000 MI. Install with very easy. Just replace the old OEM Toyota coils. Would have liked a different color but happy with my purchase.
Great coil packs, improve throttle response and feels pretty good on acceleration. My butt dyno approves. I have these coil pack working along side the NGK Ruthenium spark plugs. They pair well together.
Install is a bit of a pain, but no more than changing your spark plugs for normal maintenance. Driven maybe 50 miles so far, no noticable power increase with 92 octane. Paired with intake, exhaust, MAF tune. So far all I have noticed is slightly smoother lower RPM driving. Throttle response might be slightly better but not noticeable. As I kind of figured, this could be a snake oil mod but it was cheaper than OEM. Hopefully they don't present any issues going forward. Doing about 80 miles of highway driving after writing this, I'll see if mileage improves any.
These coils are great. Get the performance out of them with air intake, pedal commander, and Exhaust also premium gas. You can ride on regular gas but you won't get all the performance. Forget about saving gas with these. I have all the above so far so good with RIPP COILS. I recommend this.
2013 Lexus IS250- Coil-packs are great! Lower speed acceleration feels much smoother than before but biggest difference was at highway speeds in PWR mode, car pulled much more and feel quicker! I will note if you purchase, to replace spark plugs while your there alongside intake manifold gaskets! Only issue I ran into was since the coil packs are larger than OEM the intake manifold was crushing a wire connected to the coil pack all that was needed was light trimming of plastic and was good to go! Also wished I got a sticker with my order but didn’t receive one which was a bummer! Nonetheless the coil packs are a 10/10
Absolutely enjoying it night and day difference. I was getting 11 to 13 miles per gallon now getting 16 to 20 huge difference while running on 33 inch tires.
My awesome wife bought these coils for me for Christmas. WOW!!! I've never seen such a difference from a single mod in my life, on any of my vehicles. I already had a S&B intake, and a 3 inch MBRP exhaust and these coils made them all the more efficient in their function. Judging with my butt dyno... I've experienced more power and torque throught the power band. Keeping my foot steady, my truck now hold 6th going up the hills on the freeway where it used to downshift and grab 5th. These motors have port and direct injection, when you put the hammer down and get into the direct injectors... she sings a glorious tune all the way up to nearly 6k RPM pulling HARD the whole way. Sweet sweet motor music! Thanks Ripp... Driveability, and the fun factor of my Tacoma are like never before. These coils have added power and refined my ride like nothing else. This should be the first power mod anybody should put on their Tacoma. Huge effect for the price.
Shipping was quick and effortless. Items were very well packaged. The directions were ok, passenger side installed was extremely easy. However the driver install was less friendly.
The coil packs are universal, making install a bit easier. Have some patience and the removal and install is decent. I would suggest taking base line data before install with OEM CP and then check the data after new CP are installed.
I’m not 100% sure I feel the HP gains. Only 50-100 miles driven at this point. And installed a new cat back exhaust as well.
I would say the product is good and worth giving a try.
Zap! 2007 Lexus Is350 @ 52,500 miles with F Sport intake and HKS Exhaust. I used to see 23.5 maybe to 24.9 mph typical backroads or Hiway. I have seen slightly over 27.7 on backroads and gentle acceleration. Typical Hiway avg. 25.3 to 26. The Surprise is when you need that Punch to get around a truck or get up to speed merging on ramp. Not sure about the hp rating gain from RIPP, but Punch/Acceleration is outstanding matching intake/exhaust upgrades! 😉
Thanks
Well I was hoping for a little more performance. What I got was the truck running the smoothest it has ever run and an unexpected bonus. It stays in higher gears longer before shifting down AND I’m getting 10-15% plus better fuel economy. I drive the same 25 mile route five days a week. I had been getting the same mpg sense the truck was new. Now it’s jumped up. I’m loving it!!!
So far so good. Seems like a noticeable difference in the midrange. I also did a Flowmaster exhaust and Coldair intake 33’ and a leveling kit all at the same time. Definitely a great trio combo. Next is the KDMax tune end of the month. So far good to go👍 Heading to beach tomorrow so hopefully decent mpg.
19 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4, SB Intake, Denso Iridium TT Plugs, MBRP 3" Exhaust, KDMaxx Pro Tune, Nitro Gear 488s and now RIPP Coils. Truck runs way better and smoother after install. The quality of material surprised me, the pictures make them look cheap but they are heavy duty coils. It took a bit (may still be) for my computer to adjust as far as throttle responsiveness and shifting goes. I have an appointment next month for dyno so we will see what I gained. Over all truck runs and drives better and seems quicker in throttle response. I will say this, if you have a third gen Tacoma and are about to install these have new plugs ready. Three of my plugs weren't even torqued from factory allowing blow by. So do yourself a favor and go ahead and install and torque new plugs. Its also a somebich to do the drivers side plugs with large hands. Also the mount bracket on drivers side closest to cab, the bottom bolt I did not have to loosen and was able to get heat guard off and get to plug and coil. So if your thinking of getting these and people are saying they are a gimmick I a sure you they are not. Don't listen to the DBags and just buy them🤙
Installed this morning and then had to run a bunch of errands could definitely notice increased throttle response and help clean up my exhaust at idle.just hit 150,000 miles and feels new again.
Used in my 3.5Ltr Supercharged Aurion. Instantly noticed a difference in torque and responsiveness. The car idles much lower and cruises lower but is quick to get up and go. Car doesn't get lost in what gear to be in and has removed the dead part of the pedal. Very happy with the purchase.
This is a 2011 Toyota RAV4 Limited 4WD, with a V6 3.5L 2GR-FE engine.
The RIPP coils that I have received are the exact length as the OE ones, but their body is taller.
The plastic tabs on the original, 20 year old, connectors broke out 4 of 6, and the most time I wasted in the rear, trying to un-hooks two of those demons... Bruised thumbs, arms, just because I didn't want to take out the upper intake manifold.
The passenger side of the upper intake manifold, towards the firewall, is held in place with a steel bracket that goes right over top of the OE coil, almost no space. The RIPP coils came with a small spacer, that "lifts" that end of the bracket to above the taller RIPP coil body, but then, the top bracket hole, that goes into the plastic manifold, doesn't align. I might be able to fabricate something, or to elongate the existing hole... Right now, I just didn't put that top bolt on. The bracket is supposed to support the plastic manifold rear, IDK how essential it is.
Side-note: The OE spark plugs looked to be in good shape, at 81k miles. OE coils looked good too.
Now, to the part that every one expects, the results. Torque App measured, having the Traction Control turned OFF.
0-60mph: 7.141 s (from 7.644 s means -6.58%)
1/8 mile: 8.696 s (from 9.474 s means -8.22%)
1/4 mile: 13.706 s (from 15.45 s means -11.29%)
Max Power: 230.5 @ 5158 rpm (from 200.4 means 15%). Note that this is estimated by Torque, based on data that I had input, not a true Dyno.
Max Torque: 234.7
Engine temp was 185 F and transmission temp was 153.6 F. Ambient was 64.4 F and intake temp was reported 77.0 F. Gas tank was 1/4 full.
Gas mileage seems to have improved too. From 20.1 MPG previously, I am now at 22.3 MPG, same traffic conditions (commute to work).

Instal was easy on my 2017 Lexus IS AWD 300 power is there, you can definitely feel it but it’s not like a WOW feeling. I notice a better gas mileage too!
I installed RIPP coil packs on my 2016 Tacoma TRD Offroad. It was very simple and it definitely made a difference. I could tell how the throttle responded much better. Great product, fast shipping and quality is excellent.
I bought these and installed them and i can honestly say they surprised me . The car drives much smoother and the power i feel at 4500-5000rpms+ when i accelerate the car really moves. Top end is much improved and my mpg is better as well after installing these. If you're not running these , then you're honestly doing yourself a disservice!
I'm going to be 100% honest.....I installed the coils along with new plugs, I also am running premium gas. I noticed that there is a bit more torque in the upper RPM range, but honestly I feel these might be a littel pricey for the actual hp or torque gains.
The installation instructions were spot on if you've never dealt with replacing your plugs/coil packs previously. Product is designed/manufactured solidly. Performance wise, it gave that automatic V6 a little more pep, especially when the truck dogs with the A/C on. The RIPP coilpacks definitely make the list for Tacoma Must Mods.
While I was really skeptical of the 20-30hp gain, you can really FEEL the difference! These really increase the drivability and enjoyment of my tacoma. No more searching for gear or constant shifting, you can just power through and go. This is how the Tacoma should have come from the factory! 100% recommend.
The coil pack swap took less than 30 minutes. Everything fit perfectly. Noticeable gains in throttle response and torque. The idle is very smooth. I'm using 1/8 of a tank to get to work instead of 1/4 tank because I don't have to mash the throttle as hard to get on the freeway. Do it if you want smooth performance gains and better fuel economy!
RIPP SuperChargers for Tacoma 3.5K (2GR-FKS V6) I used these on my 2018 Camry XSE 3.5 V6 2GR-FKS and they fit PERFECTLY no install issues at all… Now my Camry “idles” super smooth and power and torque increase can be felt throughout off idle to redline RPM’s… Worth the price for this top quality Mod you get Horse Power for your $$$!!!
Great! I did notice the more aggressive response my truck has. This is a pic of my truck . Inside the trailer are 2 street Glides. AZ to Sd Sturgis trip. Lots of mountains. Never let me down.
Better throttle response, gas mileage and horsepower. Pair it with a cold air intake, exhaust, KDMAX Tune and you are getting the power you were hoping for. Awesome product and thank you for the stickers shipped out after there were no stickers in the package.
I already had a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust and high performance tune when I installed these coil packs, and was stunned by the immediate improvement in power and throttle response. Install was straightforward, no more difficult than a sparkplug change. Every tank of fuel since I put them in,, I'm constantly seeing 2-2.5 mpg improvement in fuel economy. Best mod I've done so far. Worth every penny! The only negative is they didn't come with a Ripp Supercharges sticker!
Added these on so I could have some extra responsiveness and man did this deliver! I have this paired with a couple of things; carven catback exhaust, injen ram air intake, OV tune 2.0 93 octane performance tune with all Toyota tune updates from 2016-2021 stacked; adding this on made the truck literally fly when I drive. The CPU took a bit to pick up that it had a little extra spark with it but it absolutely flies. Make sure that while you replace the coils you also replace your sparkplugs with it. All in all I got the power speed and torque I had been looking for. It was either this or going with a Magnuson supercharger or a ripp one. But I think I found the best bang for my buck!
Overall I think the coils do make a difference. I have noticed better fuel mileage. Hard to feel such a little power increase, but it does feel that the throttle response is a little better.
